Luxair, founded in 1961, is the airline of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It has some twenty aircraft and flies to over sixty destinations from Luxembourg Airport.
The company issued a call for tenders to the leading operators in the in-flight sales industry for a contract to boost its offer from 1 July 2015.
The outcome of this call for tenders was that Luxair chose Dutyfly Solutions as its new in-flight sales operator as part of a “Full Service” contract. In line with this “Full service” logic, a production unit will be set up at Luxembourg Airport to deliver a responsive and high quality service as part of an innovative strategy specifically developed for and with Luxair.
Crews will have a new in-flight sales software developed by Dutyfly Solutions. This tool enables both reliable transactions and real-time business reporting.
These solid foundations will drive a sales and marketing policy focused on end customers and how best to satisfy them.
This ambitious new partnership is further proof of Dutyfly Solutions leading position in Europe. Luxair is the 5th national European airline to choose Dutyfly Solutions for its business.
